Production Assistant (Part Time)

Organic Bath Co. is looking for a Production Assistant who will work directly with our Production Lead. We are looking for someone who is ready to learn all aspects of the production line for Organic Bath Co. The Production Assistant will be responsible for labeling bottles, filling products, and assisting in inventory management as well. 

Duties include:

  • Accurately measuring raw materials
  • Mixing, blending, and filling ingredients efficiently while minimizing waste
  • Labeling products, ingredients, and other materials precisely
  • Recording production activities in logs
  • Organizing, prepping work areas for production, general cleaning and maintenance
  • Assisting with inventory, restocking, and materials storage, helping receive raw materials and cataloging them properly
  • Implement safety measures and communicate any problems with the team in a positive manner, contribute good ideas to make our workplace and systems even better

Qualifications

  • Entry level, experience in bakery, food production, natural products is a plus
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Passion for natural and organic products
  • Desire to join a fun work environment with a positive attitude

This position is needed weekdays, 24-32 hours per week.

Shipping and Receiving Associate (Part Time)

Organic Bath Co. is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Associate to send out all retail and wholesale orders. We are looking for someone who is ready to own the shipping process from start to finish. We need someone who is dependable, efficient, and detail oriented. This person can also contribute to the package workflow to make the process as seamless and efficient as possible. 

Duties include: 

  • Packing all customer orders (wholesale and retail) on a regular basis. Making sure that all orders are shipped out within 2-3 business days. 
  • Coordinating with the operations team to make sure that all products are stocked and alerting them on low inventory levels or out of stock products. 
  • Using ShipStation to ship all orders. 
  • Leading stock intakes, inventory counts for products and packaging, managing inventory for packaging physically (organizing and clearly identifying) and virtually (reflecting accurate information in our Shopify), collaborating with our Inventory Manager to initiate reorders, collaborating with our Inventory Manager to receive packaging materials and execute quality control checks
  • Assisting with sale preparation as needed, including assembling gift boxes, various product sets, and shipping boxes
  • Implementing safety measures and communicating any problems with the team in a positive manner, contributing good ideas to make our workplace and systems even better
  • Cleaning and sterilizing work areas and supporting our special safe work practices during the COVID-19 community health emergency

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing inventory systems or similar software
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Strong technology skills, including ability to learn new software and equipment
  • Comfort with physical aspects of the job - packaging work can be physically challenging, Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Familiarity with product packaging is a plus
  • Experience with ShipStation or a shipping app a plus 

This position is needed weekdays for 3-4 days a week or 24-32 hours.
